Why does the Lord test my heart and fortitude this often? I have been stricken with problems every microsecond of my modern existence.

What hath you prepared for my Lord?

Are you trying to put me on your servant Elijah's sandals?

Peculiarly, all that is unfolding and blockading my life, resembles that of Elijah's story in the Fifth Mountain.

Can't people nowadays get the strong message of the impending doom the world is experiencing? That the world is turning upside down? And that it's plummeting?

And in a rate called Speed of Light?

What's with the sudden knock on the door early in the morning?

Just as soon as the dawning fowls have belted out their call for morning dews?

My Lord, just as your prophets were tried in fiery furnaces.

I can't be compared with them; I am a mere servant, they are your prophets.

I have even failed to enter your sacred sanctuary.

And I even disregarded your call.

But I am not far from your Ancient Prophets.

I tried to flee from your sight.

But you still divert my route to your path.

I tried to hide myself from you.

The more you showed me your magnificence; you faced me.

I tried to cover my ears from your calling to shepherd your flock.

Yet in my secular lay life you still have me shepherd your will.

You have frustrated all my efforts and plans.

My celestial education for your vocations.

And now you have cast before me an endless list of trials.

Lord, why hast thou forsaken me?

A servant whose servitude and fortitude you have tried for decades.

Was this the meaning of the rainbow you have shown me on my midsummer night's slumber dream?

I saw two rainbows in one.

One was above the other.

Forming a thick fortress wall of hues and pastels.

You showed me your will in my dreams.

Just like what Elijah sees when his head feels heavy.

And he hears your Angels' whisper of Your celestial commands.

Oh, Lord. God of my Sorrows and Passion.

Spare me the Joy of a sweet summer slumber.

Don't deprive me of my sole solitude.

Now, they have extracted all that I have.

I have relinquished every resources that I have.

Just as you have planned.

They now enjoy the lucre I have so arduously earned.

You have depleted me of what's left of me.

What more have you prepared for me, oh my Lord?

What commands have you for me for Your glory and for Your people?

I live a life of a layman. For now.

This is partly my fault.

I have sworn before Angels to give you my heart.

And so You have kept my heart's promise to You.

Hello guys, I desperately need your comments. I'm not doing this to harvest blog hits, I really want to hear from you what hairstyle would fit me.

I just felt the urge to let vanity creep in. I always neglect it. I believe that ugliness is a gift and I don't need to be ashamed of it. Buwahahaha! Well yeah, I don't want Americans to ridicule us for being ugly or at least me for being one. I need to show them that Filipinos have something too!

I visited a salon last time, and they we're quite high-tech they told me to surf on the internet and get the hairstyle that I wanted and report back to them.

P.S. Leave those "ambisyoso" and "feel!" comments of hatred and anger okay. Spare me the voodoo stuff. I just checked on their website, I didn't mean to be so ambitious. Hahaha! It is frustrating to know that blogging has its ups and downs. There are times when it seems that your blog is successful anyhow. There are also times when you feel that your blog is nothing but piece of rubbish and dead. And this is bugging me now.

As time passes, I have had what I call a milestone in blogging. For the first time in my life, I have maintained a blog for a month without making another blog before I even reach a week. I have also had comments dropped by certain cyber friends and anonymous people. And that made me celebrate and leap in happiness. But it seems today that it is not working.

Well, soliloquy. Let me tell myself first why I blog.

1. To serve as an outlet of emotions and soul. To be able to share my life as boring as it is, and as dynamic as it is at the moment.
2. Listen to other people's voice by airing my side and waiting for theirs. That's why I love it when people leave comments.
3. To monetize my blog, that is to earn money from it. Google ads and stuff. This absolutely is not working for me now.

Why am I quite upset?

1. I feel lost. I feel defeated.
2. I did not quite attain my objectives.
3. I aimed too much.

So yeah, I realized that blogging is not about harvesting people to your site. It is about gathering the people who love you as you are. Willing to talk to you even if they look dumb. I also realized that I should instead blog about life. But that I can not do now as I live a dead life, so to speak. I spend my whole life eating, rising, blogging and the cycle goes on and on. This is not healthy for blogging right? 'Cause blogging is life. It has to be fresh and true. Soulful. But I guess it ain't easy to blog the professional way, so I'll turn to conventional journal-making. He he

Nah, do not care about me. I'm just talking about how my life is absolute ennui. Maybe all I need is to sleep early, wake up early and go outdoors sometimes. I need air.

Lessons learned:

1. Keep it simple. Coz life is simple.
2. Don't aim for the impossible.
3. Go outdoors.

Impress your lovey-dovey this season of the Hearts. Prepare an easy step-by-step dessert that'll surely hit your baby right to the heart. Do your thing add a little twist in it.

Start preparing the sweetest thing for your love, you know she can't resist this!

Chocolate & Strawberry Sundae

Ingredients

500 ml: Milk
200 gm: Fresh cream
1/2 cup: Powdered sugar
2 tsp: Cornflour slurry
1-2 tbsp: Strawberry jelly
1 tbsp: Chocolate, grated
1 tsp: Vanilla essence
1 no: Wafer biscuit

For Strawberry Sauce:

1 cup: Chasni (Sugar syrup)
2-3 tbsp: Strawberry, diced
2-3 tsp: Cornflour slurry
2 tsp: Strawberry puree
2 tsp: Powdered sugar
4-5 drops: Lemon juice

Method

Heat milk in a pan. Add sugar, cornflour slurry and cream.
Add vanilla essence, once the mixture becomes thick, place in the freezer after it cools down.

To make strawberry sauce, take Chasni in a pan. Add cornflour slurry, powdered sugar, strawberry puree and cook.

Now add diced strawberry, lemon juice and cook for a little while. Strawberry sauce is ready.

Take 1-2 tbsp of strawberry jelly in a glass. Add 1 scoop of ice cream and strawberry sauce.

Add another scoop of ice cream and strawberry sauce. Finally add grated chocolate and diced strawberry.

Serve chocolate and strawberry sundae with wafer biscuit.
